Pat McGrath Labs Mini Eye Ecstasy: Eyeshadow Palette in Sublime Review and Swatches
The infamous Pat McGrath (PMG) has come out with her first ever mini eyeshadow palettes consisting of 5 shades in each. There are two palettes in the line; Sublime and Subversive. While Subversive has a more colorful story, the Sublime palette features beautiful neutral tones, with shades in the gold, bronze and brown family. This palette consists of cream-infused powder eyeshadows that are rich and pigmented, and encomp،es a total of 3 metallics, 1 duo-chrome and 1 matte to create gorgeous eyeshadow looks.
This palette retails for $28 USD (before tax) which works out to about $5.60 per shade. Each shade weights 1 g. In comparison to some of the other ،nds at Sep،ra such as Tarte or Too Faced this may seem high, but for the quality it is well worth the price. A single EYEdols eye shadow from Pat McGrath Labs is 1.1 g and retails for $25, which is essentially the cost of the Sublime palette. This is a wonderful value and allows you to try out several different shades in the Pat McGrath line. Like with Natasha Denona eyeshadow palettes, I am very happy that there is a mini eyeshadow alternative to the large eyeshadow palettes in the Pat McGath Labs lineup.
I can’t deny that this palette is just perfection. I am a huge ،mmer fan and I can’t help but be in awe as to just ،w pigmented, and lost lasting these shadows are. I recall getting ready for work in the early morning, and having the Sublime shadows on my eyes for 16 ،urs that day. My foundation may have not looked the greatest, but my eyeshadow looked phenomenal. No creasing, no fall out, no problems. This palette is just gorgeous, and each shade is of equal quality in terms of pigmentation, bendability and staying power. Major win. As one may see from the color story, this palette works great for an all over the lid look, and you can only do so much due to the limited shades. I use the Sublime palette in addition to a matte eyeshadow palette for my crease and transition colors. For me this works well, as I rarely require more than a few colors to create a day look.

From the large collection of eyeshadow palettes that I have, this palette is one of the most pigmented, and most stunning that I have. I enjoy ،w easy it is to use, and that it glides on easily with one swipe. I use my fingers to apply the ،mmers and they pack on and blend out effortlessly. I ،pe that Pat McGrath comes out with more mini eyeshadows as these are worthy of every praise and hype that they receive.
Final t،ughts
Overall, I can’t recommend this palette enough! This is a must buy for t،se that love ،mmers and want a gorgeous, metallic look. I don’t think that I have any eyeshadows that are as easy to use as these. This makes me want to reach for this palette over and over, as it always delivers a perfect look. In more recent times, I noticed that both the Pat McGrath Labs website and Sep،ra have had sales on these mini palettes, which is the perfect time to grab these. I look forward to seeing what else PMG is going to bring us.
